As a Goose policyholder, you can now submit claims for our US policies (those underwritten by International Medical Group® (IMG®)) via their new claims portal. This allows policyholders to easily submit new claims and any related documentation and receipts! This is the fastest method of filing new claims and submitting documents to existing claims and is expected to improve claims response times.
You do need to first sign up for a MyIMG account in order to be able to file claims or view information regarding existing claims. The signup process is straightforward:
- Make sure you have your certificate number, which is found on your policy documents and also in the Goose app under My Policies.
- Simply access the MyIMG Registration site here and enter your certificate number, follow the prompts to complete the signup process, and get signed in to your new MyIMG account.
- If you already have an existing MyIMG account, access the login page here.
- Once you are signed in, navigate to the “My Claims” page. You'll then be prompted to select the appropriate policy and follow the remaining prompts to submit your claim.
Of course, claims reporting is still available for your travel insurance policy by phone! Access the Goose mobile app for claim phone numbers related to your policy or reach out to Goose Support by email and a licensed support agent can refer you to the appropriate claims department.
