Goose partners with another insurtech, Boost Insurance, and with underwriters at Markel Insurance to secure coverage for our property and pet insurance products. Unfortunately, Markel has suspended all new billing for the Boost distribution line effective immediately. If you had recently gotten quotes for renters or pet insurance but did not purchase, you will not be able to do so at this time.
If you have an existing renters or pet insurance product with Goose Insurance, it is in your best interest to keep it active, as once it expires or lapses it cannot be rewritten. We are able to continue to service existing policies as long as the premium continues to be paid. It's important to realize that these policies are monthly renewable, so if your payment doesn't go through on the due date, then the policy expires. If it is not paid on the due date, it will not be able to be rewritten to a new policy through our agency.
