Our Phone Insurance covers your wireless phone against the following:
- Accidental Damage from Handling (Drops, Spills, Cracked screens)
- Loss and Theft
- Mechanical and Electrical Breakdowns
What's NOT covered?
- Normal wear and tear & cosmetic damage (like paint peeling and screen scratches)
- Pre-existing conditions/flaws (that happened before the policy began)
- Abuse, misuse or Intentional Acts
How much does our Phone Insurance cost?
Less than you'll likely find anywhere else! You'll be billed monthly, and pricing is based on the value of the device being covered.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Your phone should be in good working order with no physical damage and be included in the list of eligible devices (see the app for the full list)
How do I get covered?
- Enrolment is completed using our mobile application
- You'll be asked for your phone’s make, model, wireless carrier and IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity - every phone has one, and we show you how to find this in the app). If your wireless carrier is not listed you should select “Other”
- Complete the purchase with a debit/credit Visa/Mastercard

What happens after I buy a policy?
We will send you a confirmation email with your policy documents, FAQs and claims contact information.
Claims Process
If you need claims service you should first go to protect.likewize.com/goose or call 844-333-4895.
You will be asked to create an account and verify your phone number and email address on file and will be asked what happened to your phone.
- If damaged, what is broken? (Example- Screen cracked, Camera damaged).
- If Loss or Theft, was a police report filed?
Service Options- for Damaged Phones
Depending on the extent of the damage to the phone, you'll be offered various service options:
- Walk in- Likewize has contracted with Batteries and Bulbs and Cell Phone Repair (CPR) stores for common repairs such as screen cracks & liquid damage. Turnaround time is typically 1-3 hours from the time of drop off.
- Advanced Exchange- This service option allows you to receive a replacement device next business day.
- Mail-in - Likewize will email you a shipping label and instructions for sending your phone in for repair. Turnaround time - 3 to 5 business days
Loss/Theft Claims - Reimbursement for Theft and Loss Claims
You'll be asked to submit required claims documents such as proof of ownership, valid Identification, and copy of police report.
What deductibles might apply?
Deductibles of $15 to $29 may apply if your phone needs to be repaired. If replacement of the device becomes necessary, a replacement deductible of up to $300 may be applied, depending on the MSRP of your device.
Cancellation Rules
You can cancel your policy at any time for any reason. Cancellation requests should be sent to Goose customer service at 888-374-6673.
The policy comes with a 30-day free-look period, so any cancellation requests made within the first 30 days will be fully refunded.
After 30 days, cancellation refunds will be pro-rated and any return premium will be returned to you.
Who is the Insurance Carrier?
Goose Phone Insurance is underwritten by Universal Underwriters Insurance Company (UUIC), rated A+ by AM Best (# 002297). UUIC is a subsidiary of the Zurich Insurance Company family of insurance companies.
